This is an Edwardian diamond horseshoe brooch from the high-end jeweller Howard & Co. The brooch is superbly crafted in 18ct yellow gold and platinum and the 29 old cut diamonds sit in clawed mounts. The diamonds graduate slightly in size from the centre and are excellently matched for colour and clarity. It sits in an antique fitted box as advertised.

Howard & Co. was a New York based jeweller active from 1866-1922. They were located on 5th Avenue and were considered a competitor of Tiffany & Co. Their items are now very rare and always feature an exceptional standard of workmanship.
